Built to Cry

Darkness is all I see,
And the light never shines down,
Whats wrong with me?
My grins are nothing but frowns

Its a greyscale rainbow,
Everythings black and white,
Like a carousel of heartbreak,
They spin me till Ive lost my sight

I wasn't built to smile,
I was built to cry,
I was worth nobody's while,
Its like the shackles of pain,
They never let me die

I was made to suffer,
Not made to laugh,
Living on the edge,
Something you cant save in a photograph,
Nobody was there to catch me,
Because someone was there to shove me into the black sea

The mirror is a liar,
I'm not griefstricken with tears,
Being strong just lifts me higher,
I havent cried in years

I was made to take your sorrow,
Sacrifice my joy,
You will never cry tomorrow,
Make the world your toy

I guess I can say I grin,
In the form of a grimace,
Over one hundred sins,
I never had any limits
